Three Chinese astronauts, including the second Chinese female astronaut, went up into space in Long March 2F for two weeks. They will be flying to Tiangog, a Chinese space station, that is 208 miles above Earth and will take approximately take 40 hours to get there. This three sum will be conducting experiments on Tiangog for the

mission Shenzhou 10. This is part of China's plan in making a permanently manned station above Earth. They are doing this without any help, although Eupope clains their astronauts may have access to Tiangog. China is currently making Long March 5 for the next part of the mission.

Chinese Picture & Poem

They rush out of their caged prison in excitement
Flying freely over the ocean together with elegance and grace
Onlookers watch curiously at the beautiful scene
Then they disappear into the glowing sunset with out a trace

Does the crowd of people or the flock of birds disappear into the sunset? Either way, I like your poem. Mr. Chester

A River

My life is a river.
Although there are rough rapids,
Up ahead will be gentle currents
Occasionally there may be an unexpected turn or twist,
Yet something good will always come out of it
Perhaps there will be a waterfall,
However it gets back on course somehow eventually
Sometime a fork will be insight,
But in time it has to choose what path to take
My life is a river.

Isabella I of Castile

Queen Isabella I of Castile was a remarkable woman who did wondrous things that benefitted her kingdom and influenced the world. She was born on April 22, 1451 in Spain; where she also died on November 26, 1504. When Isabella’s father, John II, died Isabella and her family went to live with her step brother, Henry; who hardy cared for them. Later people started to rebel against Henry for not upholding his promises to his people, so he gave his crown to Isabella. This is also around the time when Isabella married Ferdinand.

On 11 December, 1474, Isabella was crowned queen; although her reign was shaky at first, she managed to secure her rightful place as queen. Then she pulled the kingdom out of an enormous debt by taking royal control of the money production she fixed the problem. Isabella also rearranged the government system which made it stronger. Later, Isabella went into a ten year war to conquer Granada. Three years afterwards, Isabella funded Christopher Columbus in his journey to the New World and split the land with Portugal. At age 53, the wise, truthful, and powerful Isabella died on 26 November, 11504.
